⚠️ By registering on Vendou, you agree to these Terms of Service in their entirety. Please read them carefully.
1. About Vendou
Vendou is a peer-to-peer marketplace for secondhand and pre-owned fashion items, accessible at vendou.us. The platform is operated by ZENTARA BUSINESS LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company with a business address at 175 Varick St, New York, NY 10014, USA.
Vendou connects individual sellers and buyers. Vendou is not the seller of the items listed on the platform and is not a party to transactions between users.
2. Access to the Service
Access to Vendou is limited to individuals who are 18 years of age or older, or minors duly authorized by a parent or legal guardian. Registration is free and requires creating an account with a valid email address.
2.1 Account creation
- Each user may hold only one account
- Information provided must be accurate and kept up to date
- The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials
- Vendou reserves the right to suspend any account in the event of abuse
3. Listing Rules
Sellers agree to:
- Accurately describe items (condition, size, brand)
- Post recent, representative photos
- Set a reasonable, non-misleading price
- Not list counterfeit, dangerous, or illegal items
- Not list items with pornographic or offensive content
- Ship sold items within 5 business days of the sale
4. Transactions and Payments
Transactions are processed securely via Stripe. Payment is made by the buyer at the time of purchase. Funds are held in escrow until the buyer confirms receipt.
4.1 Service fees
- Vendou fee: 8.5% of the sale price (paid by the buyer)
- Fixed fee: $0.85 per transaction (paid by the buyer)
- Shipping cost: depends on the selected carrier
5. Buyer Protection
Vendou protects buyers in the following situations:
- Item not received within the agreed timeframe
- Item that does not match its description
- Item damaged in transit
To be covered, the buyer must open a dispute within 48 hours of receiving the item.
6. Liability
Vendou acts as a technical intermediary and cannot be held responsible for:
- The content of listings posted by users
- The quality or accuracy of items sold
- Disputes between buyers and sellers
- Service interruptions due to maintenance
7. Intellectual Property
The content of the Vendou site (logo, design, text, code) is protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction is prohibited without express authorization.
8. Changes to These Terms
Vendou reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Users will be notified by email of any material changes.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable United States federal law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Wyoming, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.
